Parrots & Blogging

Today was the kind of day that makes you think, "I love living and working in San Francisco and I'm going to start a blog about it." However, it may have been the mid-day Guinness. FCSF enjoyed a group offsite today. Traipsing down Sansome Street to Filbert Street, the crew climbed more than 300(500?) steps to Coit Tower sitting atop Telegraph Hill. The goal was to spot the famous parrots of Telegraph Hill. The crew spotted 2 groups of the birds flying through the glorious blue of a typical San Francisco indian summer sky. Some how Brooks caught an elbow to the eye from The Neck on the way up. Winded after the ascent up and a descent down the other side into North Beach, we took a respite at O'Reilly's pub. Molinari's deli was then hit up for sandwiches of cheese, coppa, mortadella, and meatballs. We returned to Filmcore for the feast followed by an early afternoon coma. 2:30 pm came around and a Red Bull shotgun contest commenced between Scissors and The Neck. A movie of this will follow in the next post. Until then take some time to read about the parrots.
